Feed pump

Feed pump – this is the general name for a pump that forces a continuous flow of liquid fuel to the carburation system.

It usually ensures at the same time that the required overpressure is maintained for the metering device (e.g. carburetor or injection pump). Suction-pressure supply pumps are commonly used in internal combustion engine equipment. Such a pump, by generating negative pressure, sucks fuel from the tank through the suction pipe, and then, by generating overpressure, forces the sucked fuel through the pressure pipe to the metering device.

Currently, there are many different supply pumps in use, classified according to various criteria, such as: operating principle (hence the common names: diaphragm, piston, rotary, gear, etc.), drive method (hence the names: mechanical, electric, pneumatic, etc.) and others.

In addition to the typical ones, special-design feed pumps are used, i.e. with a special operating principle (double-acting feed pump) or combined with other devices (combined feed pump).

In our shop we have a wide selection of supply pumps, you will find them all here!
